Real Woman Real Journey (RWRJ) Therapy for Women 

I attended Ryerson University where I completed a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) with a minor in Psychology, and McMaster University where I completed a Masters of Social Work (MSW). I am also a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Association of Social Work. I have experience working for the Alternative Programs for Youth and Families in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Mi’Kmaw Family and Children’s Services in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia more recently Peel Children’s Aid Society.

I have over 6 years of experience working as a child protection worker and 6 years of experience as a social service worker and case manager. I have develop skills in engaging with individuals, couples and families through challenges such as the judicial system, youth in care, crisis intervention, mental health and addiction issues, families dealing with grief and bereavement, couples whom are separating, custody and access disputes and victims of abuse. I promotes my clients to create and maintain healthy relationships through using a solution-focused and strengths based approach.
